WHY

In years past, Africa has greatly enjoyed foreign aids from the USA, however, it has become apparent aids alone cannot help Africa. Recently, the narratives are changing from a content seeking handouts. In recent times, however, the narratives have rightly shifted from a continent seeking handouts to that seeking Trade and Investment.

The ratification of the continental free trade area has now positioned Africa as the single largest market with over $1.2 billion consumers with no frontiers. To take advantage of these opportunities and increase bilateral trade, strategies and approach deployed has to be cutting edge and effective.

While Africa’s diplomats, business and political leaders continues to pursue creating partnerships with the United States, the biggest gap remains the poor implementation and maximization of these opportunities.

The USAfrica HUB, therefore, has been created to is an effective platform to help African businesses maximizes initiatives such as AGOA, Prosper Africa and ACfTA and help find new international markets for its export-ready products

This HUB brings the opportunities in Africa with the diversity of the United States together to create a HUB – enabling any business to find the people, funding, and market it needs to be successful.
